CECPAS Board Holds First Sitting

The Center for Performing Arts and Sports (CECPAS) held it’s first Board meeting on 11^th January, 2024. The meeting was convened to lay a road map for the functions of the Board and realign their functions with existing frameworks and institutions. The Center which is mandated to come up with programs and classes in theatre, arts, music, dance, film and sports from certificate to doctoral level draws a membership from staff with distinguished careers in this areas The meeting to achieve its objectives formed committees to spearhead the activities of the directorate. The committees include;

1. Curriculum Development Committee
2. Resource Mobilization Committee
3. Policy and Strategic Planning Committee

The Committees were mandated to work on their tasks and report back on their progress in the subsequent meeting after one month.
